Our Story! How FUNMI by The Shea Shack Began
Hi, I’m Kathy, the owner and founder of FUNMI by The Shea Shack. Our journey began in 2010 when I was a homeschooling, homesteading wife and mother of three wonderful sons. What started as a passion for organic heirloom gardening and eating healthier quickly grew into a love for creating natural skin, hair, and body care products for our family.
When my youngest son struggled with eczema, we were determined to find a solution. Commercial and prescription products weren’t working, so I rolled up my sleeves and started making eczema care from scratch using all-natural, organic ingredients. This journey led to crafting everything from eczema creams to deodorants and soaps—always with the same care and commitment to quality.
For over 14 years, we’ve stayed true to those original recipes and high standards. We choose to invest in QUALITY ingredients rather than fancy labels because we believe you, our customers, deserve the very best.
